restaurant in venice since 1960
About Us
Ristorante Da Mario alla Fava opened its doors in 1960, with the aim of creating a welcoming place where the true Venetian cuisine could be rediscovered — a cuisine made of tradition, authentic flavours and attention to detail, too often forgotten or overlooked.
Today the restaurant continues to carry on this legacy, enhancing the dishes of the lagoon through quality ingredients, creative recipes and attentive service. A setting where the history of Venice meets a contemporary gastronomic experience, designed to delight both Italian and international guests.
FROM MARIO TO FAVA
The tradition continues
The welcoming atmosphere and the excellence of its dishes have over time made “Da Mario alla Fava” one of the most appreciated restaurants in Venice.
A gastronomic tradition that has been consolidated over the years and that is still carried on today with the same dedication to quality, the selection of ingredients and attention to detail.
Attentive service, a refined setting and dishes accompanied by selected wines allow guests to rediscover the authentic flavours of Venetian cuisine, in an experience that combines tradition and contemporary sensibility.
Hospitality and Cuisine in Harmony
Philosophy
A good restaurant is not made of great cuisine alone, but also of hospitality and the ability to understand and meet the diverse needs of its guests. Here, taste merges with experience, giving rise to authentic emotions that make every moment at the table truly unique.
The gastronomic offering unfolds through tasting menus designed to enhance every dish, offering the opportunity to savour multiple creations, including formats conceived for a dynamic and complete experience.
“Eating is a necessity, eating intelligently is an art.”
