Family welcome

Da Mario alla Fava offers a typically Venetian, relaxing and tranquil atmosphere, being located in the middle of the historic center, between Rialto and San Marco. Owners Guido and Luca Bonavita, whose father founded the restaurant in 1960, carry on the family tradition with dedication, offering a refined and welcoming environment, where attention to detail and attention to service combine to guarantee Italian and international customers a gastronomic experience of excellence.

Identity and passion

The kitchen offers dishes typical of the classic Venetian tradition, made unique by a search for quality raw materials and a creative and personalized reinterpretation according to current tastes, mainly fish, but not only.
Alongside the authentic flavors of the lagoon, the Bonavita brothers love to experiment with original combinations and refined presentations, capable of enhancing each ingredient without ever betraying its essence.

In addition, in 2015 Guido and Luca chose to adhere to an ancient but currently much sought-after philosophy: vegan express cooking and pastry. Launching a new signal in catering that promotes
the use of raw materials of plant (non-animal) origin and without sacrificing creativity and quality, the Ristorsante offers a complete vegan menu, from appetizer to dessert.

A gastronomic journey that tells the story of Venice, interpreted with contemporary sensibility, and invites each guest to live a unique experience between tradition and innovation.

The experience will be complemented by a well-rounded wine list, where select labels meet bottles of absolute excellence.

The proposal is designed to enhance every dish, from fish classics to vegan creations, offering pairings capable of enhancing the flavors and making each tasting even more special, thanks in part to the advice of our two Sommeliers Luca and Donatella.

All desserts are homemade with artisan care and freshly made “express” to surprise with freshness and goodness.
From the classic and timeless tiramisu to more original creations, such as chocolate spaghetti with mint ice cream, each proposal is a final treat designed to end the meal with taste and a hint of wonder.
