Founded in 1960, the restaurant continues to be a point of reference for those who wish to enjoy an authentic experience, in a refined and welcoming setting. Eating in Italy is always an art, but dining at Ristorante da Mario alla Fava is truly like visiting a museum, from the moment we arrived until we said "arrivederci." The two owners are continuously monitoring each table, ensuring every guest was having a wonderful experience. The maître d'hôtel Massimiliano is the real master chief on the ground, offering excellent suggestions with wonderful Italian humor. We thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes; all were prepared with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The tiramisu dessert was a perfect ending, served in a half sphere of dark chocolate—a unique presentation I've never seen or tasted anywhere else. In short, a visit to Venice is incomplete without experiencing your restaurant.
